Is busy season over yet?

Let me repeat, Is busy season over yet? Things have been a little rough around the edges at times here in our house. Having a baby during busy season is tough. Not seeing your husband until 10pm each night and then having him still work from home after that for a few hours is tough. Seeing your husband for only 30 minutes max each day is tough. Caring for a baby and feeling like you are neglecting your husband is tough. Trying to make time for each other is tough. Remembering how much time we had for each other before this little babe came is tough. But taking care of this little fella with my husband right by my side (when his schedule allows) is 100% worth it. Seeing my husband's eyes light up as he swaddles our son and tucks him into bed each night is worth it. Knowing that Mike and I made this baby and he is all ours, is worth it. Hearing baby coo's and squeaks throughout the day, is worth it. Knowing that we will have more time for each other once busy season is over, is worth it. Having a countdown until Mike can take his paternity leave, is worth it.

We seriously love our little Wyatt so much. Things can get hard at times but they are so good. We wouldn't have it any other way...(maybe less work hours...) But we are so grateful for this little baby in our house and are so happy that we are his parents. We are learning a lot as we go through all of this together.

Almost half way done with busy season!! Hopefully the warm weather will start to come too!!
